I have marked the first drafts of micro essays, your homework is to correct them and write a second draft some people have more to do than others. Also those students who have yet to hand me a first draft when you do hand it in it will count as your second draft and you may not get a chance to improve it.

You can do points 2-4 on your blogs if you want, if you do include the poster and the trailer and label the post as homework

1. Stick the poster in your book, annotate the poster, use denotation and connotation to guess what genre the film may be
2. Watch the trailer for Pan's Labyrinth (see below), make notes on setting, characters, props & significant objects, narrative plot, themes and style
